Cooper Standard plans to expand India's market business plan to double sales in five years

According to foreign media reports, U.S. auto parts supplier Cooper Standards is currently expanding its operations in the Indian market, and the company recently stated that it plans to double its sales in the Indian market over the next five years.

Cooper's current annual sales in the Indian market are approximately $71 million. The company plans to increase this figure to $200 million by 2017, which is twice the current level. As for the global market, Cooper Standard plans to increase its annual sales from the current 2.9 billion U.S. dollars to 7 billion U.S. dollars by 2020.

Cooper Standard has recently built a new factory in Haryana, India. At the same time, another new plant of Cooper Standard in Sanand, Gujarat is under construction. In addition, the company also plans to establish a technology center in Manesar, Haryana.
