National Energy Administration: China's total energy production in the first three quarters increased by 9% year-on-year

On the 26th, the National Energy Administration held the first three quarters of the energy economy operation conference in Beijing. China’s total energy production in the first three quarters of the previous year increased by 9% year-on-year. The demand steadily increased. The electricity consumption increased by 1.4% year-on-year, and the apparent oil consumption increased year-on-year. 1%; In addition, the energy structure has also been optimized, the proportion of investment in thermal power has been significantly reduced to 41.6% of the power investment; energy international cooperation has made significant progress in many areas.
Energy production increased by 10% for three consecutive months
According to the data released by the National Energy Administration, the reporter found that the country’s total production of 2.01 billion tons of standard coal in the first three quarters of this year was up 9% year-on-year, and the total energy production in the third quarter was more than 245 million tons of standard coal for three consecutive months. The increase is about 10%.
Electricity generation has always been a barometer of the national economy. The National Energy Administration disclosed that the cumulative growth rate of power generation in the first seven months of 2009 has been negative growth. From January to September, the cumulative generating capacity of power plants above designated size was 2651.1 billion kWh, representing a year-on-year increase of 1.9%, and the growth rate increased by 1.1 percentage points from the negative to the positive from January to August. Accumulated in the first three quarters, the nation’s power generation equipment utilization hours was 3,352 hours, which was 283 hours lower than the same period last year. From July, the utilization hours of power generation equipment has basically recovered to the level of previous years. In August and September, it slightly exceeded the level of the same period of last year. Considering the shutdown of small thermal power units, at the end of September, the installed capacity of full-caliber power generation equipment was about 830 million kilowatts.
Zhou Xi'an, Director of the General Department of the National Energy Administration, said: "After the outbreak of the international financial crisis, electricity demand was relatively weak, coupled with new production units, and the supply capacity was sufficient. In some regions, supply exceeds demand."
Energy demand picks up again
Powered by the recovery of downstream electricity, steel, building materials, non-ferrous metals and other industries, the coal market is gradually picking up. Coal supply and demand in key areas has become increasingly active and prices have risen steadily. Taking the coal transaction price of Qinhuangdao port as an example, at the end of September, the transaction price of 5,500 kcal/kg thermal coal at Qinhuangdao Port was 595 to 610 yuan/ton, which was about 25 yuan/ton higher than at the end of July. Ports and other cargoes even appeared in September. phenomenon.
Although the total consumption of refined oil declined, the decline began to slow. According to the data released at the conference, the apparent consumption of refined oil from January to September was 152 million tons, which was a year-on-year decrease of 3.2%, a decrease of 3.3 percentage points from the first quarter.
Cing Dingkun, an oil and gas analyst at China Investment Securities, told the "Economic Information Daily" reporter that this year's car sales are relatively gratifying, but it cannot completely hide the impact of the economic crisis. "The decline in exports, many small processing companies stopped working, from the data point of view, refined oil consumption is still falling," said Ding Dingkun, but its slowdown is likely to be due to the rise of infrastructure projects and better logistics recovery.
The proportion of investment in thermal power is reduced to 41.6%
This year, countries have shouted “low-carbon slogans” on climate change, and green energy has played a leading role in optimizing the energy structure.
According to data provided by the National Energy Administration, as of September, this year the cumulative installed capacity of new power generation nationwide was 49.115 million kwh, of which clean energy accounted for 32.9%, an increase of 5.6 percentage points over 2008. Since the beginning of this year, investment in hydropower, nuclear power and wind power has increased significantly, and the proportion of investment in thermal power has been significantly reduced to 41.6% of power investment. The newly approved nuclear power project is 25.4 million kilowatts, and the scale of construction is 13.35 million kilowatts. According to incomplete statistics, at the end of September, the newly added wind power installed capacity was 5.59 million kilowatts.
For Shanxi Coal Reform, which is currently widely concerned, Zhou Xi'an emphasized in particular: “97.9%! The data we just obtained yesterday showed that the number of coal mining companies that have signed agreements with major companies has approached 98%.” It is expected that by the end of 2010, coal will be large. Shanxi Province's coal companies will be reduced from 2,200 to 100, and the number of coal mines will be reduced from 2,598 to 1,000, with a 60% reduction. “The level of the coal industry will increase by leaps and bounds.” said Zhou Xi'an.
The reporter also learned that China and Russia have signed a number of agreements to deepen the integration of upstream and downstream oil fields, expand railway crude oil trade, carry out natural gas cooperation, and promote nuclear energy and coal cooperation projects.
