Toyota brake pads

Most of the brake pads we had developed in our factory are for passenger cars brake pad, auto brand including all kinds of vehicles for: Toyota, Honda, Isuzu, Nissan, Mazda, Daewoo, Hyundai, KIA.

The main specification we adopted for our production and inspection showed as follows:
GB /T5763-2008 Automotive disc brake pad inspection standard
GB /T17469-1998 Inspection specification for Automotive brake pads friction property
GB/T5766-2006 Friction material Rockwell hardness

According to the above national specification, we have formed our own work flow:
Powder weighing- powder mixing-cold pressing- back plate degrease-back plate blasting- hot pressing for friction powder and back plate- heat treatment for the rough unfinished brake pads surface grinding-cutting grooves- chamfering- cleaning-painting- accessories installation- printing- finished products -inspection-packing.

For each batch of production, we will test a certain numbers of finished products by instant, and test the friction of coefficient/wearing rate property to make sure it is with the required specification.
Our Brake pads friction coefficient is between: 0.34-0.50 (10-7 cm3/ N. M), which is within the national specification, and hardness is 90 HRR or so;

For bake pads production and inspection, we strictly follow the national technical specification for brake pads GB 5763-2008, based on this standard, we have formed our own production procedure, the simple brake pads work flow in our factory showed as follows:
Step 1: Powder weighing- powder mixing-cold pressing for friction powder-
Step 2: Back plate degrease-back plate blasting-
Step 3: The hot pressing for friction powder and back plate- heat treatment for the rough unfinished brake pads surface grinding-cutting grooves- chamfering- cleaning-painting-
Step 4: Accessories installation- printing- finished products -inspection-packing

For our customer's selection about our material formula, there are several main brake pads formulas in our factory include the semi-metallic, and the NAO(non-asbestos organic). We no longer produce the asbestos material. But with the different percentage of the steel fiber and other stuffs, we have divided our semi-metal and NAO formula as follows:
A. Regular NAO formula;
B. Steel fiber formula;
C. Steel fiber with non-asbestos formula;
D. Non-asbestos with compounded fiber formula;
E. Semi-metallic formula
We suggest our customer make the selection according to the local market requirement to decide the specific materials. D436
