The third reason lies in the demonstration benefits of the “miracle” of the Chinese Internet. The success of Internet giants such as Alibaba, Baidu, and Tencent made the latecomers passionate and ambitious. Everyone wants to be a world-class company. To seize this window of opportunity, no one is left behind.

The fourth reason is that the government encourages innovation and entrepreneurship, which has caused such an upsurge in the automotive industry. The automotive industry's innovation and entrepreneurship has never been surging like the last two or three years. In the 1980s and 1990s, a series of new auto companies such as Chery, Great Wall, and Geely were born in the industry, and a group of people such as Li Shufu emerged. There will be heroes in this era. I am very confident about this. However, it should be emphasized that there is a big difference between R&D and other industries. We should enter the automotive industry more rationally.

For Internet companies entering the automotive industry, we should embrace welcome, openness, and support. But I personally think that they should enter from a professional and one-way perspective, rather than from the vehicle, so that the success rate is higher and the contribution to the technological innovation of the automotive industry is even greater. The automotive industry needs a single, focused technological breakthrough rather than manufacturing a complete vehicle. Of course, I am not opposed to Internet companies making cars, but just benevolent and wisdom see wisdom. Currently, domestic vehicle companies are not as active in smart driving, but Tiger and Lions are powerful once they wake up. Once auto companies such as FAW, Dongfeng, and SAIC are playing “Huwei”, foreigners may not compete with them.
