Cavotec receives 10 million euro port crane matching orders
Recently, Cavotec has received a major order for its innovative systems in the field of marine propulsion, shore power and crane electrical systems, with a combined value of 10 million euros, highlighting its position in global ports and shipping.
One of the orders came from a major crane manufacturer that provided electric cable reels for the power and control of the rail-mounted gantry cranes (RMGC) and automatic stacking cranes (ASC) of two container terminals.
It is reported that this is one of the most important developments in stacking crane technology and will make these cranes the fastest cranes ever delivered.
