China's Green Tire Industrialization Accelerates

In recent years, the industrialization of green tires has attracted extensive attention and participation from national ministries, industry associations, and tire companies.

It is understood that since the 2012 green tire industrialization work officially started, as of now, the relevant work process is accelerating.

The following is a summary of major events in the process of industrializing green tires in China.

From April 2012 to March 2013, the China Rubber Industry Association was entrusted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to organize key tyre manufacturing companies to formulate and improve standards such as the "Limits for Energy Consumption of Tire Unit Products" and "Evaluation Index System for Cleaner Production of Tire Industry".

In March 2014, China released its first "Technical Code for Green Tires" and began trials. The specification defines green tires, and at the same time puts forward the concept of green manufacturing in the whole process of green tire production and advocates green use.

In May 2014, in order to accelerate the industrialization of green tires, the China Rubber Industry Association established the “Green Tire Industrialization Promotion Committee” led by the leading tire enterprise, and established the “Green Tire Technical Support Center” to undertake the industrialization of green tires. The promotion and technical support work will be implemented to finally implement the tire labeling system.

In June 2014, the Department of Raw Materials of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Tire Labeling System Study" project with a "Letter on Entrusting the Development of a Tire Labeling System."

In August 2014, a working meeting was held in Beijing for the participation of all members of the Task Force of the "Tire Labeling System Study", the secretary-general of the relevant branches (professional committees), and major raw material manufacturers. The meeting discussed the two topics of the labeling system research project and the environmental protection raw material guide, and defined the three sub-project managers responsible for labeling system research, product testing and environmental protection raw material index research, and put forward the "tire labeling system research" work plan to discuss the various children. The topic division of labor, the preparation of the outline of the research report, put forward the preparation progress and completion time of the research report, and form the meeting minutes.

In September 2014, the heads of the sub-projects submitted the research priorities of the sub-projects and the outline of the research report and the progress of the work.

In December 2014, a “Tire Labeling System Feasibility Study Report” seminar was organized in Shanghai by experts from Double Money, Michelin, Bridgestone and Tire Branch. The meeting discussed the preliminary investigation and research work of the tire labeling system, the summary of the specific implementation conditions, the preparation of the report outline, the implementation period of the tire label and other issues, and formed a meeting summary.

In December 2014, the first draft of the "Tire Labeling System Study" was revised.

In January 2015, a work meeting for the “Tire Labeling System Study” was held in Beijing. The members of the entire task force and the secretaries of relevant professional branches (professional committees) listened to relevant reports of the heads of various sub-projects and proposed amendments to form a conference. summary.

In February 2015, the “tire label style” was publicly solicited for a period of two months and a total of more than 20 labels were received.

In March 2015, we completed the preparation, review, editing, and printing of the first edition of the "Guided Guide for Green Tire Raw Materials".

In April 2015, the first edition of the "Guide for the recommendation of raw materials for green tires" was released.

In order to speed up the implementation of China's tire labeling system, the majority of consumers and automobile manufacturers have a correct understanding of the concept of green tires and the safe use and maintenance of green tires. The China Rubber Industry Association plans large-scale public welfare donations for China Green Tire Safety Week. Activities, promote green tire knowledge for general consumers, advocate the safe use and maintenance of green tires, promote the healthy development of the green tire industry through end-users' awareness of green tires, and promote the implementation of the tire labeling system.

In April 2015, the eighth session of the China Rubber Industry Association (Executive Director) passed the “China Green Tire Safety Week” charity event planning.

From April to June 2015, he completed the “China Green Tire Safety Week” LOGO design and web design, preparation, editing and printing of brochures, and completed the implementation plan for the launching ceremony of the event, as well as the design and production of local promotional materials.

On June 15, 2015, the launching ceremony and publicity campaign for "China Green Tire Safety Week" was successfully held in Dalian. At the same time, green tire public welfare promotion was launched in Shanghai.

During March-August 2015, the China Rubber Association (CACO) solicited proposals on three sub-topics of the "Tire Labeling System Study" through emails, telephones, etc., and made amendments and improvements to complete three research reports (electronic version). At the same time, it put forward a roadmap for implementing the tire labeling system.

In September 2015, the “Tank Labeling System Study” project summary and seminar was held at the Yancheng test site in Jiangsu.
