Specifically, the consumption of domestic construction machinery can be divided into five blocks:
First, high prototype construction machinery. Under the guidance of the country's western development strategy, the economic construction in the western region will set off a climax, which is a new market for construction machinery. High-level prototype construction machinery in foreign developed countries has become a stereotyped model, and many construction machinery enterprises in China have not yet carried out research and development of high-type prototype construction machinery, or are in the initial stage, and it is difficult for existing models to meet the special requirements of the western region. Domestic construction machinery manufacturers should develop and develop plateau construction machinery that meets the requirements of the western region and seize this huge business opportunity in the western economic construction.
Second, special construction machinery. In order to protect the ecological environment, the rivers of the seven major river systems in the country are dredged, and several large lakes are returned to the lake. The reinforcement of tens of thousands of kilometers of dams requires more general-purpose construction machinery and some special construction machinery such as long-arm excavators. Dredging boats and so on. In addition, the demand for special construction machinery for emergency and disaster relief, such as high-passability mini-excavators and dangerous rock excavators, is also increasing.
Third, agricultural construction machinery. With the adjustment of agricultural structure, rural areas need small, simple, practical, and inexpensive agricultural construction machinery to engage in agricultural infrastructure construction and agricultural industrialization.
Fourth, general or special construction machinery. V. Export of construction machinery. Construction machinery is one of the major mechanical products in international trade. The annual trade volume is about 35 billion US dollars, of which the United States and Japan account for more than 50% of the world market share. The overall level of China's construction machinery is 10 to 15 years behind that of developed countries, but there are also a small number of products that are close to the international level and are welcomed by developing countries because of their low prices. Some products such as forklifts and small vans that save labor, improve labor productivity, and reduce operating costs are also welcomed by European and American markets. The annual export volume of construction machinery products in China is only 250 to 300 million U.S. dollars, and the export potential is very large.
